• Ace Heat Shield Paste (HSP) is a safe, easy-to -use; non-toxic, biodegradable insulating paste designed to prevent heat transfer during welding, soldering, brazing or other heat treatments. It is formulated to protect sensitive valves and other soldered parts, valve gasketing and washers, thin gauge metal and other materials that could be damaged during welding or soldering. It can also be used to protect wire insulation, tubing etc when soldering connections, or to protect plastic drainpipes which are closely situated to metal pipes being replaced and/or soldered. Protects surrounding surfaces from flame and prevents surface discoloration of welded stainless steel. Will leave white residue to applied areas - rinse off with clean water. Can withstand temperatures up to 7500 Deg F Application: For Soldering, Brazing and Welding Operations
