Steel bolted couplings for joining two plain end pieces of pipe of the same outside diameter without welding or exact field cutting of pipe ends. A combination of the substantial middle ring and two follower flanges join together with the proper number of bolts to fully compress the gasket into the middle ring, creating the flexible, yet leak-proof seal.
