JCM Fabricated Tapping Sleeve, 400 Series, 8 in Pipe, Carbon Steel, Finish: Epoxy-Coated, -40 to 212 deg F, Additional Information: 412 Model, 8.98 to 9.37 in OD Pipe, 6 in Outlet Size

Tapping Sleeves shall be high strength with body fabricated of ASTM A36, A516 GR 70 or equal, which conforms to and reinforces the pipe. The sleeve shall have as a minimum 7/8" wide gasket of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR, Buna-N) per ASTM D2000 with hydromechanical activated lip, captured in a groove around the outlet; a 3/4" test outlet and oval neck track head bolts and nuts. Flanged outlet shall be per ANSI/AWWA C207 Class D, ANSI 150 lb. Drilling, recessed for tapping valve per MSS-SP60.

• The standard sleeve for quick, economical taps on all types of pipe, standard or high pressure service. Most available of all types in standard or special sizes. Available with reducing and size on size outlets, pipe sizes 6 inch and larger. Special outlets readily available. As a standard, JCM tapping sleeve (flanged and MJ outlets) bolt patterns are configured for installation of the valve on a horizontal plane with a vertical valve stem position. For applications that require any other valve position, JCM sales team must be notified prior to fitting order to ensure the flange position will accommodate the application.
