• Durable cast iron weather cap combines with 1-piece copper alloy operating nut and O-rings to provide reliable, corrosion-resistant operation under all weather conditions
• O-ring sealed reservoir may be filled easily without disassembly

• Copper alloy seat ring threads into copper alloy drain ring for easy removal and increased corrosion protection
• Rubber valve closes with the water pressure for a positive seal
• Thrust bearings above and below the copper alloy thrust collar provide low-torque operation
• Standard O-rings are used for sealing throughout the Medallion. All O-rings are dependable and easy to replace
• Mechanically locked, corrosion resistant, field-replaceable copper alloy nozzles have O-ring seals for water-tight connections
• Rubber valve facing provides tight, reliable seal. Copper alloy seat ring has 360 deg drain channel. Double ports flush with each use
• Bottoms out in the ductile iron shoe, prevents valve from disengaging the seat ring
• All fasteners below grade are stainless steel
• Shaped for low turbulence
• The shoe is offered in a variety of end connections and comes standard with epoxy coating inside and out
