The flared-out design of the 9 in square low-profile adapter covers more surface area for stormwater capture than just the pipe diameter alone. Use with 9 x 9 catch basin drain grate to drain heavy flows from lawns, landscaped areas, under downspouts, patios and walkways. The 9 in square low-profile adapter connects to 3 in to 8 in drain pipes using the appropriate outlet adapter. Connect to 3 in and 4 in drain pipes with outlet adapters (1242, 1243, 1245), 6 in drain pipes with outlet adapter (1266), 8 in drain pipes with outlet adapter (1889). The low-profile adapter is made of high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) treated with UV inhibitors.
