The ProPress Zero Lead Dielectric Union can be used when making connections between dissimilar metals in general utility, chilled water, hydronic heating water, vacuum, and compressed air systems. The Dielectric Union is designed for transitions between copper tube and steel or galvanized steel pipe. It should not be used to connect copper tube to stainless steel. The ProPress dielectric union is equipped with Smart Connect® technology for easy identification of unpressed connections during pressure testing.
