• WaterPEX Copper Stub-out Elbows are designed to provide a rigid copper pipe transition from WaterPEX pipe to a fixture stop valve. Copper stub-outs are manufactured from seamless copper tubing with a machined ASTM F1807 PEX barbed inlet and spin sealed outlet, with or without eared mounting straps. Copper stub-outs are designed to allow for initial system pressure testing prior to fixture installation, and then cut to length for desired wall protrusion and stop valve installation. Copper Stub out Brackets are used to position and align copper pipe and/or stub out elbows at plumbing fixtures (as an alternative to using PEX Stub outs, see below). The brackets are nailed to the wood framing, then the copper pipe or stub outs are soldered to the brackets. This creates a secure, stable stub out for attaching valve stops
