• WaterPEX Copper Stub-Out Elbows are designed to provide a rigid copper pipe transition from WaterPEX pipe to a fixture stop valve. Copper Stub-Outs are manufactured from seamless copper tubing with a machined ASTM F1807 PEX barbed inlet and spin sealed outlet, with or without eared mounting straps. Copper Stub-Outs are designed to allow for initial system pressure testing prior to fixture installation, and then cut to length for desired wall protrusion and stop valve installation. Copper Stub-Out Brackets are used to position and align copper pipe and/or Stub-Out elbows at plumbing fixtures (as an alternative to using PEX Stub-Outs, see below). The brackets are nailed to the wood framing, then the copper pipe or Stub-Outs are soldered to the brackets. This creates a secure, stable Stub-Out for attaching valve stops
